Featured with ANYON Design Today on RAENOVATE.

Per RAENOVATE, hawken brier is still the luckiest baby boy in the whole wide world only now he's a big boy, just having celebrated his first birthday! as the resident of the wildly popular gray striped nursery and son to interior designer, lindsay anyon brier, hawken was just thrown a marvelous first birthday party. attended by sixty of his favorite friends and family members, the shin-dig was themed around the kentucky derby, a sentimental event for the brier/anyon clan. much like hawken's bedroom the aesthetic was bright, casual and elegant with turquoise and orange emerging as the dominant colors. mama lindsay picked up the decor from various creative outlets including etsy, crate & barrel, shop sweet lulu, and caspari. a grand time was had by all, including the horse centerpiece who was crowned with a "robe of roses" just like the derby winner. happy birthday, hawken!
Thank you Lindsay and Alex, I loved photographing the derby birthday party.  You can see my post of this party HERE
titled "A Derby 1st."

Personalized Prints for the Kids

In the new year(and when wedding season cools off) I will open an ETSY shop offering these personalized prints in a variety of sizes for the kids.  They are also great for the back of birth announcements.  Name of the shop is still TBD, but excited to open it in 2012.

Brittany & Nick Wed, Clos La Chance Winery | Bay Area Wedding Photographer

Cheers to Mrs. Brittany & Mr. Nick!
Their wedding at the Clos LaChance Winery was full of love, family, friends, sun, wine, fabulous food, a entire wedding photo(below), skilled dance moves by adults and kids, smiles, and laughs.  I LOVED Brittany & Nick's excitement and appreciation for a beautiful photo.  Thank you to Nick who drove us through the vineyards in the secret golf cart to a small hill with an oak tree to a place where we found the perfect spot for the two of you. I wish you both the very best in your married life together. This quote from Shakespeare made me think of you:
"when I saw you I fell in love and you smiled because you knew."
CHEERS!
